About
Carrie is the founder of Munger Technologies, LLC. As a woman-owned business, Carrie brings passion, trust, and perseverance to every project. We take great pride and pleasure in every penny we save, every project we implement, the advice we share, and the relationships we cultivate.
Being able to give back to our community by sharing my skills, implementing cost savings, and providing efficiencies is the most rewarding thing I can do.
Our motivation emanates from the belief that Munger Tech can make a positive contribution to the plastics industry and trust in our abilities to achieve success.

Passion
I started in the Plastics Injection Molding Industry as an Engineering Assistant when I was 19 years old. I knew nothing about injection molding and learning that you can take an organic compound from the earth, pelletize it, melt it, and mold it into something beautiful or functional amazed me.
My sense of amazement, thirst for knowledge, and ambitious nature piqued the interest of the engineering team. Their mentoring and encouragement to follow my wonder and get a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from Ferris State University cultivated a lifelong passion for plastics.

Trust
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by some extraordinary individuals and work in environments with great culture and values.
Through these deep feelings of trust and shared values, I’ve gained a sense of comradery with outstanding individuals and companies in our industry. Lastly and most importantly I believe in myself to have integrity, trust, ambition, to be empowered, and to empower others.

Pride & Perseverance
For eight years I worked full-time, taking night & summer classes when I could to put myself through university. It was a huge sense of accomplishment to earn my B.S. in Plastics Engineering.
Being a female in the Plastics Automotive Industry was rare, and tough, but I loved the challenge. I am extremely proud of my perseverance and hope that my accomplishments have helped clear the path for future female engineers and entrepreneurs.

Discovery
My “Ah-Ha! Moment” was while attending a West Michigan Supply Chain Management Council meeting. The presentation was Assessing Risk in the Supply Chain. The company revealed that their purchasing team didn’t have the capacity to assess risk properly, costing the company hundreds of thousands in warranty and resourcing activities on the project. I had an epiphany, at that moment I realized I wanted to help Supply Chains become more successful and I had the knowledge and drive to do it.
From that point forward I've cultivated Munger Tech into a service and solution-oriented company focused on making a difference for the injection molders in our industry.
If I can empower and inspire my customers to greatness, that is a win for us all.
